Just say YES to becoming an active member in the life and ministry of FPC! In the Presbyterian Church there are a variety of ways to join:
- Profession of Faith: This is when you say YES to trusting in God’s grace in Jesus Christ and desire to become part of the fellowship and ministry of the Church! If you are not baptized, we shall participate in the sacrament of Baptism!
- Transfer of Letter: If you are already a member of another Christian Church, you can join FPC Covington by the Session (our fancy word for local governing body) requesting a letter of transfer from your previous congregation.
- Reaffirmation of Faith: Recognizing you have already been baptized (We believe in ONE baptism – in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) you can join the church by reaffirming your trust in our Lord, Jesus Christ and your desire to actively participate in the life of the church!
